The Bike Lane officially takes over W@W Race Series!

The Potomac Velo Club (PVC) is proud to announce that  The Bike Lane is the official organizer of the  Wednesdays at Wakefield (WAW) race series.

The Bike Lane (TBL) has been the title sponsor of the Wednesdays at Wakefield MTB Series for over a decade, providing quality race prizes, free on-location bike repair services during each race, and a cadre of volunteers from their own racing team. It takes a community to put on this grassroots race series and we are excited to have The Bike Lane take over the series. The Wednesdays at Wakefield MTB Series could not take place without the fantastic support of The Bike Lane, a family owned, a locally based bike shop with a passion for getting more people on bikes more often.

During any given WAW event, at least a third of the bikes racing are either bikes purchased or repaired in one of their two nearby bike shops (Springfield and Reston) making The Bike Lane’s mission of supporting their customers no matter where they are on their journey to becoming lifetime cyclists, a mission that is coming true.
